Advisory Committee
On March 9, 2009, Carstairs Town Council appointed a group of engaged citizens who would give vision and perspective to the Carstairs Sustainability Plan as the Advisory Committtee.

The following individuals were invited to sit on the Inaugural Sustainability Steering Committee: Lynette Lefsrud, Murray Pound, Bob Clark, Darryl Herman, Ray Cairns, Al Molnar, Anne Strilchuk, Nellie Trottier, Natasha Fisher, Amelia Naismith, Martin Ratz, and Stephen Stiles. Led by Jan Thompson, Sustainability Coordinator for the Town of Carstairs, this group of Carstairs residents got us started on the road to sustainability.

In the fall of 2009, a group of citizens stepped forward to continue the work of the inaugual committee. Those individuals include Chair: Melissa Copley, Vice Chair: Martin Ratz, Dennise Braithwaite, Tricia Hewitt, Amber Nielsen, Catherine Pratt, Anne Strilchuk, Councilor Cairns, and Councilor Wise.

If you have any ideas for a sustainable Carstairs, please contact any of these individuals, or Sustainability Coordinator Janice Thompson.
